TROPICAL WORKSHOP FURNITURE

Credits: Collaborative project between Proyecto NN, Parque Explora, Exploratorio, community leaders from Moravia and the UrbanLab Medellín-Berlín collective.

Collective design and construction of functional furniture to activate the environmental laboratory of the Moravia neighborhood: Taller Tropical. Through participatory workshops, 24 chairs, 4 tables and a storage module were designed and manufactured, intended to support the activities carried out there related to the environment, the community and the transformation of the territory.

This project was a commitment to collaborative work, learning through practice, and taking ownership of the space. The experience strengthened ties between cultural institutions, urban collectives, and the organized community, recognizing its residents as active participants in the processes of change and collective development in Moravia.
