Design and production of a flexible and reconfigurable stand for the UN Habitat III forum (Quito, 2016 ), conceived as a dynamic space for participation and conversation about the city, coexistence, and art. The collection of furniture of different types and heights allowed for multiple configurations according to the needs of the moment, encouraging attendees to take ownership of the space and expanding the possibilities for interaction.
Challenging the ephemeral nature of trade fair architecture, the project gave the furniture a second life by donating it to Ecuadorian cultural groups and organizations after the event. In this way, the pieces continued to contribute to local artistic and community activities, extending their use, reducing waste, and reinforcing the idea that a booth can also be a platform for dialogue and environmental stewardship.
