The design of a meeting space that promotes the appropriation of the museum as a public place , inspired by the everyday dynamics of the street. Conceived as a place for presentations, workshops, games, or simply for hanging out, the Agora seeks to keep the conversation alive between participants and the museum, expanding the exhibition experience beyond mere contemplation.
The modular wooden furniture, arranged at different heights, allowed for multiple configurations for meetings, performances, and events. It was built with treated wood to facilitate its subsequent reuse and was decorated by children from the La Honda neighborhood, who transformed it into an open-air classroom for their community.
The Agora also presented a series of posters/manifestos with phrases designed to spark conversation about common space, heritage, and community.
