Urban and architectural design of six minimal wooden houses (between 50 m² and 60 m²) for living in the mountains, strategically positioned to take advantage of the best views and respect the strip of native forest preserved and reforested by the family. The basic scheme proposes a compact rectangular floor plan where the service areas are concentrated on one side, freeing up the rest of the space for social and private areas visually and physically connected to the landscape.
The first prototype, built with treated wood , incorporated an L-shaped corridor/balcony as an entrance and a sitting area for contemplation. Subsequent versions, constructed with guadua bamboo, eliminated part of this balcony to expand the interior, allowing for greater spatial clarity and personalized facades. One version included a dressing room and internal access to the laundry area, while another increased the footprint to add a second bedroom or study. This process combined construction efficiency, cost optimization, and a constant dialogue between design, landscape, and community life.
