Design of a community-based educational strategy to promote urban agriculture in the context of the pandemic. The proposal combined virtual sessions and some in-person meetings as a way to cultivate community and share knowledge.

During 11 sessions divided into 3 modules, residents of Comuna 10 in Medellín explored the design of home gardens, the value of native seeds, food sovereignty, and the soil as a living organism . Each participant received a kit with supplies, the logbook "My Garden Diary," and materials to create a flag that would identify them as part of a gardening community.

The process concluded with group meetings to share lessons learned, read letters written by participants, and raise awareness of the project in the neighborhood. Adopt a Garden fostered connections, shared memories, and a common desire to reconnect with the land from home.
