Credits: Commercial design and architectural direction of four locations for the artisanal pastry brand Milonga. In collaboration with D-mension.
The brand's image transformation required a new approach for its retail locations. Through an attractive, undulating counter and the use of natural materials like wood and textured surfaces, the artisanal aspect was emphasized as the core value of this culinary offering.
The design of the spaces achieves a balance between elegance and intimacy, comfortable yet not intended for extended stays. A palette of pinks, golds, greens, and grays, along with rustic plaster and handcrafted finishes, creates a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere. The interior layout optimizes product display and preparation, avoiding visual clutter and highlighting the brand's sensory experience.
Replicability strategies were incorporated to maintain the essence of Milonga at different points of sale, thus consolidating a spatial and material identity that conveys freshness, naturalness and lightness, offering "a direct pleasure to the heart" in each location.
